Is a degree in politics and international relations useless?

No, the degree is not useless. There are jobs in both the public and the private sector. The challenge is that the degree alone will not qualify you - you need additional skills and experience. Internships, experience abroad (for example as a study exchange), and language skills are all crucial. Depending on what you would like to do afterwards, you need to start working on getting there as early as possible in your time at university.
Recommended books on international relations?
Main Post:
Any books that you guys would recommend as a good starter on geopolitics and international relations? I'm looking for books that offer someone with little prior knowledge to the subject something that presents a lot of reliable information and is easy to comprehend.
